Teen charged with funeral director thefts

A teenager has been charged with stealing two limos from a funeral directors near his home.

Thomas Nichols, 18, is accused of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance and driving a vehicle not in accordance with a licence.

It follows an incident on June 7 when two vehicles were taken from Medway funeral directors in Walderslade Road, Chatham.

One was found abandoned at The Tramways and the other at Yarrow Road.

Nichols, also of Walderslade Road, appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on June 7.

He has been released on bail to appear at Maidstone Crown Court at a later date.
