A TEENAGER is due to appear before a court today accused of causing grievous bodily harm after a man allegedly had a glass pushed into his face.

Michael Norris, 19, of Sewell Close, Birchington, is due before magistrates in Margate following an incident on Sunday.

Police say a man was undergoing surgery at Ashford's William Harvey Hospital in the hope of saving an eye.
