Disappointing pizza deliveries and strange goings on in Gravesend - ten things we learnt this week.
1. Howletts has a new arrival - a slightly wobbly baby black rhino.
2. Measuring the height of bridges is extremely important when transporting transformers the size of a small house.
3. Eastwell Manor has changed hands, bought for an 'undisclosed sum' by Champneys. We assume it was quite a lot.
4. We discovered that even if you sit right next to a river, Domino's pizza still tends to arrive by moped, despite the company's claim to deliver by canoe. Strange that.
5. We discovered strange goings on in Gravesend.
7. The University of Kent student union made a rather zany choice for Black History Month.
8. Model planes can be hard to control.
9. There are some bad ladybirds about.
10. A developer could find itself in trouble after destroying a pub without planning permission - which has now been refused.
