Thanet is the star of a new movie!
Black comedy The Singing Cowboy was shot exclusively in Thanet with a cast and crew of local people.
The film premieres at 5pm Sunday at the Broadstairs Palace Cinema.
It tells the story of singer Wesley Wheatsheaf, played by Steven Todd from Broadstairs, who joins the US army in the hope of becoming the new Elvis Presley!
Director Norman Thomas said: "Thanet was just a great setting for the film, it has so many quirky and strange places.
"Bits of Margate look like they've been a war zone for years!"
The film features an array of extraordinary characters including a supernatural colonel, a sadistic female torturer and a seductive con-woman.
