A district in Kent has the third highest infection rate for coronavirus in England, government figures have revealed.
Ashford's rate is nearly double that of the county as a whole - which stands at 271.2 cases per 100,000 people.
At least 637 people in the district have been hit with the virus at a rate of 492.7 per 100,000.
But other parts of the county are also in the top 20.
Thanet recorded an infection rate of 400.5 cases per 100,000 - with Dartford just behind at 400.1.
Cliftonville West in Thanet recorded a total of 13 deaths related to Covid-19 between March 1 and April 17, the highest number in the county.
Cramped living conditions and people ignoring lockdown restrictions were blamed for it becoming a coronavirus fatality hotspot.
In comparison, Kent's lowest rate was in Tunbridge Wells at 137.2.
