Road-breaking machine stolen from a Rochester college.

This mammoth road-breaking machine - worth £40,000 - has been stolen from a Medway building site.

Brazen thieves swiped the digger from a site at Mid Kent College in City Way, sometime between 10pm on October 5 and just before 6am the following day.

Now police are scouring CCTV footage and carrying house-to-house inquiries to find out who could have stolen the machine and driven it away unnoticed.

Anyone with information should contact Medway police station on 01634 792175. Alternatively call Kent CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
