Welling held on for a point in Blue Square Bet South at Kent rivals Tonbridge on Saturday.

Welling's Joe Healy had to clear off his own line after the break and keeper Dan Thomas made a fine save late on as Welling extended their unbeaten run to seven games.

Bromley, meanwhile, suffered their seventh successive defeat, losing a sixth straight Blue Square Bet South match in going down 3-1 at home to Eastbourne.

The visitors took an early lead when Steve Brinkhurst headed in after 16 minutes.

Lewis Taylor thought he had equalised moments later but his effort was ruled out for offside.

It took Bromley just five minutes of the second half to equalise when Bradley Goldberg's corner was half-cleared to Salifou Ibrahima, who scored with a low drive.

Ben Austin headed Eastbourne back in front with 21 minutes left from a corner and they wrapped up the points late on through Ross Treleaven.
