The Conservatives have retained control at County Hall and have won a resounding victory at the county council election.
The party has won 74 of the 84 seats being contested and has made major gains at Labour's expense.
Labour has even been ousted by a residents group in one north Kent division and been pushed into fourth place by minority parties elsewhere in a dismal showing.
The results from the European election will be declared on Sunday evening.
