SOUTH East England has been identified as a vehicle theft hotspot by Tracker Network. The stolen vehicle recovery specialist recorded a 31 per cent rise in theft activations in the region in vehicles fitted with Tracker systems over the last two years.

Michelle McLaughlin, deputy marketing manager at Tracker Network, said: "We are not just experiencing an increase in thefts of highly expensive vehicles, but all types and value.
