Trampolinist Kat Driscoll, originally from Walderslade in Kent, qualifies for the London 2012 Olympics

Trampolinist Kat Driscoll is going to the 2012 Olympics!

The 26-year-old, originally from Walderslade, qualified on Saturday when she won the fourth and final British Gymnastics Olympic trial at Liverpool.

Driscoll (pictured) earned Britain’s place in the Olympic event by qualifying for the World Championship final in Birmingham and her selection for the Olympics is now expected to be rubberstamped on July 4.

Driscoll tweeted: "Huge thanks to everyone for your support and congrats! Been an incredible day, crowd was incredible, totally made it a fab atmosphere!"
