TV comedian quizzed in internet crime inquiry

TV COMEDIAN Chris Langham has been arrested in connection with an investigation into internet-related crime.

Kent Police confirmed that the 56-year-old was questioned and released on bail on Tuesday, November 29.

According to his lawyer, in a statement issued through the Daily Mirror, Mr Langham had not been charged with, and had not admitted to, any crime.

Mr Langham won the award for best television comedy actor at the British Comedy Awards on Wednesday night for his parts in The Thick Of It and Help.

He lives in Cranbrook in west Kent.
