Witnesses sought after girl is stabbed

A TEENAGE girl was stabbed in an altercation involving about six people. Another girl was also injured during the incident in the borough of Bromley.

It happened on Thursday shortly before 10.30pm, in Croydon Road, Anerley, near the junction with Samos Road.

The victims, aged 18 and 19, are being treated in south London hospitals. Their conditions are not life threatening, according to Bromley police.

Det Insp Alex Phipp of Bromley CID, who is leading the investigation, said: "The incident involved about six people. One female received a stab wound and we would like to hear from any witnesses who may have information that could help identify the people who are responsible."

Police say no one has been arrested at this stage.
