A 21-year-old woman has been charged with murder in Margate.

Sarah-Jane Ripley, of Fort Crescent, is to be appear before Canterbury magistrates tomorrow, following the death of 29-year-old James Hedington.

It comes after police were called to a house in the town at 9.20pm last Thursday, after ambulance crews reported Mr Hedington had been taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds.

He later died at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother hospital at around 11pm that night.
