A WOMAN motorcyclist has died after being in collision with a lorry in the village of Smarden, near Ashford.

The woman was pronounced dead by a doctor at the scene. Fire crews from Ashford and Tenterden were called out shortly after 5pm last night.

Kent police and ambulance crews were also in attendance. The victim has not yet been named.
