A woman was freed from her vehicle after a crash on the M25 clockwise at J6 near Clacketts Lane.

Heavy congestion was reported, with two fire engines, ambulance crews, the air ambulance and police involved.

Motorists were warned of delays after the crash just before 3am, with fire crews leaving at 3.50am.

The crash caused problems across three lanes, and traffic was being diverted at J6.
