Woman freed from crashed car

A WOMAN was released from her car by firefighters after hitting a lamppost in Goodwin Road, Ramsgate. The woman’s Volvo was in collision with a Vauxhall Cavalier before demolishing the lamppost.
After being freed, the woman was taken to the Queen Mother Hospital at Margate and treated for a suspected neck injury.
Seeboard engineers were called to ensure that the smashed lamppost was safe.
