A FAMILY of four from Kent have qualified for Great Britain’s pentathlon and triathlon world championship squads.

Melanie Evans and her husband Ron, from Cobham, will compete in the masters section of the World Triathlon World Championships in Hamburg, Germany on September 2.

Their son Michael will also compete in the under-24s section of the championship while his twin brother Gareth is set to take part in the Junior World Championship Modern Pentathlon in Portugal on September 25.
