It's going to rain all day, well that's what weather experts say because they have issued a yellow weather warning for rain.

Heavy rain is forecast until 6pm this evening so keep your brollies to hand as the rain will become persistent, with some heavy bursts at times.

The heavy rainfall could lead to some flooding and travel disruption with bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.

Spray and flooding on roads will probably making journey times longer for motorists too.

Experts predict between 10 and 20mm of rain is likely to fall today and in some places could get 30mm and given the ground is already saturated, there could be some localised flooding.

In one of the worst weather-related incidents, a car park was left underwater as heavy rain hit Canterbury.

It comes as more than a dozen flood alerts were issued across Kent.
