A nine-year-old girl suffered minor injuries in a crash near a Broadstairs school earlier today.
A spokesman for Kent Police said the youngster was sat in the back seat of a car when it collided with another vehicle in Westwood Road at 8.40am.
The collision blocked the road and caused long tailbacks around the nearby St George's School.
The police spokesman described the incident as a "low impact collision" and said there had been little damage to the two vehicles involved.
