Your chance to quiz PM in person
Published: 16:35, 10 January 2005
PEOPLE living in Kent are being given the opportunity to ask Prime Minister Tony Blair a question in person?
Are you concerned about classroom standards, hospital waiting lists or what Mr Blair's Government is doing to help the environment?
Maybe you are worried about how the huge house-building programme will affect Kent or how hard it is for key workers like teachers and nurses to get on the property ladder. Perhaps you are anxious about increased council tax bills or the ban on hunting.
On Thursday (January 13), thanks to the Kent Messenger Group, you could put your question directly to the Prime Minister himself when he visits the county.
You must be available on Thursday afternoon and you may have to be prepared to travel, depending on where you live.
To be in with a chance of meeting the Prime Minister, all you need to do is provide us with some personal details, a contact number and, of course, let us know what single question you would like to ask Mr Blair.
You must e-mail your question and details to politicaleditor@thekmgroup.co.uk by Wednesday 10am. You can also use our Web form. It is important you let us know how we can contact you on Wednesday, too, so we can let you know the arrangements if you are lucky enough to be selected.
For operational and security reasons, we are unable to give out more information.
