Animals have been slaughtered and stolen after vandals broke in to an animal sanctuary.
The thieves left a trail of devastation at Second Chance in Crockenhill (animals pictured left before the raid), after cutting a path through brambles.
It's claimed a number of animals have been left dead or are missing.
Julie Tullett and her partner John Ranger arrived to find their site had been torn apart and say they have been left heartbroken.
Four dogs are missing, including their own pet and their rescued guard dog.
Three rabbits were found dead and another had to be put down because of its injuries.
The couple say they are unable to find at least five chickens, but more could also be loose and they are worried foxes may have got them.
The site was broken into sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
Police told the couple that it ‘screams of bored teenagers’.
Julie Tullett said: “Luckily we had all our volunteers come up and take over as me and John were in a state of shock, we just were walking around trying to carry on as normal as everyone obviously needs feeding and watering and looking after.”
