THE third generation of Animal Cab has been released from captivity. The new top-of-the-range Mitsubishi L200 Animal Cab III, from the UK's best selling pride of double and single cab pick-up models, broke cover last month.

Mitsubishi has again teamed up with Animal, the extreme sports gear manufacturer, to produce 1,100 special Animal versions of the L200 Double Cab. The price of this desirable beast will be from £17,995 (commercial vehicle on-the-road price). Other L200 models start from £9,995 on the road. The L200 again won the UK Pick-Up of the Year Award 2001 from What Van? magazine.

Animal specification includes air conditioning, central door locking, ABS braking, Animal branded scuff plates, mats and bodyshell graphics, leather steering wheel and gear levers, aluminium facia trim and six CD autochanger.

Sixteen inch alloy road wheels, front fog lights, two-tone paintwork, chrome grille, door handles and electrically operated door mirrors complete the bright-eyes look.
