A man killed in a Sevenoaks crash has been named.

Police have renewed their appeal for information a week after the fatal crash.

Stanley Draper, 54, of West Malling, died in the accident which happened on the B2042, Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, at around 6.50pm on Thursday, May 31.

It‘s believed that a blue BMW was involved in a head-on collision with a blue Mitsubishi pick-up truck.

Mr Draper, who was driving the pick-up truck, was killed while the driver of the BMW, a 56-year-old man from Orpington, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital. His condition has now stabilised.

DS Scott Lynch of the serious collision investigation unit said: "A week on we are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this incident and are keen to hear from witnesses.

"We believe there was a convoy of six cars travelling north along the road prior to the collision and not all of the drivers in this convoy have yet been in contact with us.

"We would therefore appeal to them or anyone travelling home at the same time this evening to think back to last week and anything they may have seen. This was a serious collision in which one man died and another sustained life threatening injuries. It’s therefore imperative that those with information come forward so we can get the best picture of what may have happened."
