KENT Police are appealing for information about a woman who is missing from home.

Doreen Thornton, of Lonsdale Avenue, Cliftonville, near Margate, was last seen by her husband at about midday on Thursday, October 5.

Officers are concerned for her welfare as she suffers from depression and uses anti-depressant medication.

She is white, about 5ft 2in tall, with light brown eyes and short, curly, light brown hair. She usually wears dark coloured skirts and light coloured jackets.
