Support the KentOnline Charity of the Year by taking part in the KM Dragon
Boat Race this summer.
Kent Air Ambulance is appealing for members of the public to join its team
and raise funds for the life-saving charity.
The race is being held at Mote Park, Maidstone, on Sunday, July 1 and will
include a Family Fun Day.
Jamie Cheshire from Kent Air Ambulance said: “We need volunteers to join
our boat and raise sponsorship money for the charity.”
He added that the air ambulance team will compete in a minimum of three
races over a 200-metre course, with the fastest teams going through to a
grand final.
All entrants must be aged over 14, no previous experience is necessary and
all equipment will be provided.

Kent Air Ambulance provides a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service
(HEMS) to everyone living, working and travelling in the county, 365 days a
year.
The helicopter carries a doctor and critical care paramedic who can carry out
advanced medical procedures at the scene of an accident or emergency,
giving patients the best chance and quality of survival.
