A witness to an assault in which the victim was left with a swollen left eye is being urged to come forward.
The 30-year old man was attacked at 10pm on Wednesday, October 1 as he walked along Franklin Road, Gillingham, towards the railway station.
He was punched on the left side of the face shortly after walking past two males and a female shouting on Barnsole Road.
As he spun around the group of three ran off in the direction of the Aldi store.
The group are all believed to be white and around 17 or 18 years old. One of the male suspects wore a black hooded top while the other wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with blonde, untidy, collar length hair. The female is described as having shoulder length dark hair.
Following the incident a red car being driven by a male with a female passenger, pulled up alongside the victim on Napier Road. The female passenger said she had seen the attack but left no contact details.
Det Con Balbir Billen, from Medway Police, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this assault, particularly the woman passenger in the car which pulled up alongside the victim.
“Police are keen to stress that they do not believe the man or woman in the car were involved in the incident in any way.
