KENT Police have issued the image of a man they are keen to speak to in connection with an attempted robbery at a betting shop.

The incident occurred at the Coral Betting Shop in Delce Road, Rochester, at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, August 22.

The female manager was closing up when a man grabbed her and demanded that she lock the door. She screamed and the would-be robber ran off. Nothing was stolen during the incident.

PC Bal Billen, who is investigating the incident, said: "I would ask anyone who may be able to help is identify this man to contact the police. All calls will be fully researched and treated in the strictest confidence."
