VAUXHALL has announced details of its Astra Edition 100, to mark its 100-year celebrations.
The new edition is available in either coupe or convertible and, according to Vauxhall, “resplendent in its own unique pearlescent Centenary Blue.”
The rich exterior colour is complemented by 17 inch alloy wheels.
Inside, there is beige leather trim, a matt chrome centre console, alloy gear shift knob and even a special plate on the ashtray depicting the car’s production number.
There is a choice of three engines for both the coupe and convertible - 1.8 16v, 2.2 16v and the 2.0 Turbo - and all get the electronic stability programme. Other items include side airbags, cruise control and trip computer, while the coupe also gets a subtle rear spoiler.
The Astra Edition 100 is on sale from early April. The on-the-road prices range from £16,585 for the Coupe 1.8 16v to £21,610 for the convertible turbo.
