Argument leads to smashed shop window

A WINDOW was smashed during a disturbance involving teenage boys and girls at Garlinge, near Margate.

Police say that the glass in the High Street newsagents was broken shortly after 10pm on Monday night.

A spokeswoman said: “A member of the public reported seeing a group of youths arguing. During the course of the argument, it appears a brick was thrown causing the damage.”

One of the offenders is said to be a boy in his late teens, wearing a light coloured top and a light baseball cap. Another teenage boy is stocky with a shaven head and he wore a dark top.
