AN ARMY cadet instructor has been honoured for her work with recruits.

Jacqueline Harley from Sidcup was awarded the Certificate for Meritorious Service at a ceremony in Fulham.

The 48-year-old was praised for her voluntary work spanning 16-years.

Presenting the award, Col Clint Riley said: “As Head of Catering, her day starts before 6am and she is still found in her kitchen at 7pm ensuring that the cadets have a supper snack after their day’s training. I would like to thank her for all her hard work and dedication.”
