A MAN is recovering in hospital after an incident at a flat.

Police officers were called to the premises in Brabourne Avenue, Twydall, Gillingham, at about 8.25am on Thursday after reports of a disturbance.

One man was taken to hospital and another was arrested on suspicion of assault.

The area was sealed off by police while investigations were carried out.

A spokesman for Medway Police said: “A 46-year-old man was arrested in connection with an alleged assault, but has now been bailed pending inquiries.”
