A MAN is being held on suspicion of grievous body harm after a woman was stabbed in the leg on a bus.

The incident took place at about 10.10am yesterday in Dunkery Road, Mottingham, near Bromley.

The 28-year-old woman, from Birmingham, was taken to hospital but her injuries are thought not to be life threatening.

The man who is being held is in his early 20s and from Lewisham.
