Arrests after fight on estate

A POLICE investigation is being carried out into a dispute between residents on the Newington estate in Ramsgate. It follows a number of minor incidents involving young people.

A police spokeswoman said: “At about midday on Sunday, police received reports of a disturbance at The Centre, Newington, where a number of youths were fighting.

"Following our inquiries, four people were arrested for public order offences.”

They were two men, one aged 23 the other 18, a woman of 24 and a boy of 16. All four have been granted police bail.
