SEVEN men were arrested on Tuesday in connection with a number of burglaries and the theft of high value cars worth in excess of £1million.

Around 35 offences took place between October 2005 and January this year in West Kent, particularly in Sevenoaks, and other areas in the south-east of England.

The arrests were made simultaneously with the support of officers from Metropolitan Police.

The men, aged between 18 and 24 and all from the Walthamstow area of London, were later bailed until May.
