A 58-year-old man has been made the subject of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order following his appearance before a court.

Stuart Olerenshaw, of no fixed home, had appeared before magistrates at Sevenoaks on December 22 to answer charges of breach of bail and witness intimidation and was remanded in custody for 20 days.

Under the terms of the ASBO, which lasts two years and covers the county of Kent, Mr Olerenshaw is prohibited from:

* Begging in a public place

* Urinating anywhere other than in a public toilet or his own dwelling or in other premises with the express permission of the owner/occupier

* Being drunk in a public place

Tunbridge Wells neighbourhood sergeant Simon Terry said: "Mr Olerenshaw continued to persist in anti-social behaviour despite earlier interventions, leaving police no option other than to seek an ASBO.

"The police will continue to deal firmly with anyone who seeks to significantly disrupt the lives of others."
