A 42-year-old from Godfrey Walk in Ashford has been charged with murdering Susie Smith, who was found in an alleyway.

Steven Brooker, of Waterloo House, is due at Dover Magistrates Court today, Monday, May 3 charged with killing the Ashford resident, also known as Susie Beaney.

The incident happened just before 6.45pm on Thursday night between Christchurch Road and Godfrey Walk, Ashford. She was taken to William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, where she died.
