Assault: Do you recognise these men?

British Transport Police are appealing to Kent's commuters following a serious assault at London Bridge last night.

A 33-year old man is in hospital with a head injury following an altercation near the ticket barriers to platforms 1 to 5.

BTP has released these CCTV pictures of two men they want to question.

They were last seen boarding the train to Sevenoaks.

Det Sgt Sam Blackburn said:"The two men had a pug dog with them and were captured on CCTV at London Bridge mainline station around 9pm last night.

"We would appeal for the men in the CCTV to come forward to assist police with their inquiries.

"We would also like to hear from any other members of the public who may have been at the station at the time and witnessed the assault.

The men are described as:

white males

aged in their mid to late 20s

both with short brown hair.

One male was wearing a dark shirt and a green cardigan and was about 5ft 10inches tall.

The other male was described as 6ft tall, and was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a dark coloured bomber-style jacket.

Police are appealing to anyone who can identify the men to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or the Witness Appeal Line on 0207 391 5275 quoting incident number 656 14/10/2008.
