A teenager is in a critical condition after an attack in Borough Green.

The 16-year-old boy, who is now in a London hospital, was injured during an incident on Tuesday night near the Henry Simmonds pub in Wrotham Road.

South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the scene at around 8.35pm.

Officers cordoned off the area until Wednesday morning to allow a forensic examination to be carried out.

A 17 year old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident.

Both boys are from the local area and are known to each other.
