KENT'S Ladies have been crowned county champions for the second consecutive year.
Kent won all their matches before a final game washout at Taunton and beat Sussex into second place.
Captain Charlotte Edwards said: "It's fantastic, I can't believe it. All the girls played really well throughout the competition and thoroughly deserve everything that has come their way.
"To retain the title is amazing and something that I will never forget."
Kent and England seamer Lynsey Askew claimed the championships highest wickets accolade, including figures of 5-5 versus Nottinghamshire.
On the batting front, highest runs went to Kent's Emily Drumm, who scored 222 at a phenomenal average of 111.
