A MAN brandishing a gun entered a bank and demanded cash. Staff at Lloyds TSB branch on The Row, at New Ash Green, near Gravesend, handed over an undisclosed amount of money from the tills.

Police were alerted at around 2pm on Thursday. The gunman was described as 6ft tall, white and wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, sunglasses and dark clothes.

He put the money in a dark-coloured bag, like a sports bag, and left the bank, heading towards the main road. No one was hurt.
