Almost 5,000 visitors are expected at the Aylesford Village Festival later this month.
The event, on June 28, will be opened by Jonathan Shaw MP and Minister for The South East, who has attended every festival to date.
Among the attractions are the world's strangest things competition - an invitation for owners of some of Kent’s weirdest and strangest items to display their oddity with a chance of winning this coveted title.
This year the festival has added a traditional fairground to the event, with rides for young and old, as well as a fun zone with bucking bronco’s and bungee runs.
Local craft and produce will be also available from various stalls, as well as food and drink, with all the pubs in the village joining in the day’s festivities.
Once again, the theme for this year's event is dance - with numerous forms on show. More than 150 Morris men from across the country are expected to travel to the village to perform on the day.
Headteacher Simon Temple, joint organiser, said: "The whole village is very excited about the festival.
"All our children and their parents are looking forward to the day. It’s amazing to think this all started when a group of Morris Men joined a school summer fair four years ago!"
