When best man Wesley Knight discovered he had won £50,000 on a scratch card, he started spending the money in his head.
The 26-year-old had visions of putting a deposit down on a house and going travelling for six months with his girlfriend Chloe Garner.
But his dreams were shattered in front of dozens of wedding guests when he discovered the card was fake and it was all part of a prank by the groom Chris Payne.
Now his reaction to the joke, which was caught on film, is set to be seen by millions of people across the country after the footage was found on YouTube by the producers of the Channel 4 programme Rude Tube.
The video, which is due to be aired towards the end of September or the beginning of October, shows the self-employed painter and decorator skipping around celebrating his win and shouting to his girlfriend: "Chloe, the drinks are on us."
It is only when he turns the card over to read how to claim his prize that he realises it is not real.

Chris, who married his wife Hannah at the Ferry House Inn at Harty, Sheppey, on July 28, came up with the idea following his stag do which was organised by Wesley, of Commonwealth Close, Sittingbourne.
The 26-year-old, of Park Drive, Sittingbourne, said: "We went to Newquay for two nights in June and it wasn't very pleasant. It's too explicit to mention what happened in a local newspaper, but let's just say there was awful costumes and semi-nudity so this was my way of getting him back.
"We've had 1,500 hits so far but we're expecting it to go up once it's been on RudeTube."
Wesley said: "It was soul-destroying to find out I hadn't won.
"It's probably the best prank I've seen pulled off from start to finish. I'm looking forward to seeing it on TV. Although it's not for the right reason it's still nice to get five minutes of fame.
"I was a good sport about it, I saw the funny side straight away. Someone else might have lamped him one but I took it on the chin although deep down I was gutted.
"I've still got the card. I might frame it and hang it up to remind me of what could have been."
