Bid to trace dead man's relatives

STAFF at a coroner's office are appealing for help in tracing the relatives of a 62-year-old man found dead at his home.

The body of David Stephen McBride was found in his flat in Ferndown in Dorset on August 11. The coroner for the area believes he may have family who live in the Bexley area.

Allan Young from the coroner’s office, said: “I understand he had a daughter - possibly called Theresa - or a son who may live in the Sidcup area and it’s very important that I speak with them so that I can finalise my enquiries on behalf of the coroner.

“I would like to hear from any family member Mr McBride may have in the Sidcup area and from anyone else who may be able to put me in touch with them.”

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr McBride’s death. Mr Young can be contacted in on 01202 789154.
