A new application process has been set up to tackle problems suffered by those trying to get tickets for the Kent Big Day Out.
Technical problems have meant Kent residents have been unable to download free tickets to hundreds of attractions in the county from www.kentbigdayout.co.uk.
To rectify the problem Visit Kent say you can now register for tickets via a ballot over this weekend.
Chief Executive Sandra Matthews-Marsh explains the new system
All you need to do is complete a sign-up form online with your five top destinations plus a lucky dip should the first five destinations be unsuccessful.
There 16 thousand free tickets still available for the event on the 27th March.
You can register for tickets up until 5pm on Monday, March 8 by going to www.kentbigdayout.co.uk
Sandra Matthews-Marsh, chief executive at Visit Kent said: “This has been seriously frustrating and very disappointing for everyone.
“We are asking everyone who would like to take part in the Kent Big Day Out 2010 to fill in a simple online form with their details and the attractions they would like to visit over the weekend.
“These applications will be processed via a ballot and tickets emailed to the successful applicants.”
Anyone without access to the internet can go to their local visitor information centre to complete their ballot form.
