A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road accident on Brenchley Road in Brenchley, near Tunbridge Wells, at the weekend.

The accident happened at about 10.30pm on Saturday when the Honda motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a lorry.

The motorcyclist, who was from the Tonbridge area, was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital in Tunbridge Wells but died shortly afterwards.

He has not yet been formally identified. An inquest will be held.
