A MOTORCYCLIST was in a serious condition in hospital today after being thrown from his machine.

Police said the 26-year-old, from Margate, rode his Kawasaki across the Columbus Avenue roundabout at the Manston Business Park just after 2pm yesterday. He was treated at the Queen Mother Hospital were his condition stabilised.
