A biker has died in a crash on Blue Bell Hill this morning.

The man was riding a Honda motorbike when it collided with a Vauxhall Corsa.

It happened near the Lower Bell Inn on the opposite carriageway at around 11.20am.

Paramedics were unable to revive, the man, who is in his 50s and he died at the scene. The air ambulance also attended.

Three road closures are currently in place - the slip road off Blue Bell Hill, Rochester Road at the junction of Warren Road and Chatham Road.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area wherever possible.
