A man was killed on Monday after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a lorry.

The crash happened at around 8.15am on the B2001 Grain Road, Isle of Grain, and involved a white Volvo tipper lorry.

Emergency services were called but the victim, riding a green and white Kawasaki motorbike, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for sevreal hours after the incident while crash investigators examined the scene.
