Biker dies in crash with two cars

A POLICE collision investigation unit is appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving two cars.

The man died at the scene of the smash in Bexley Lane, Sidcup, near the junction with Faraday Avenue, on Tuesday at about 5.15pm.

He had been travelling south when his bike collided with a blue Peugeot 206 and a silver Toyota Starlet travelling north. Both car drivers stopped at the scene and no arrests were made.

The victim, who was in his 40s, has not been named. An inquest will be opened and a post mortem examination held in due course.
