A MOTORCYCLIST who stole a handbag from a disabled woman is being sought by Kent Police.

The incident happened when the woman was riding a disability scooter at Preston Hill, Wingham, near Canterbury.

A white man with blue eyes, riding a black motorbike, approached her, and stopped beside her. He asked directions, but then snatched her handbag and sped off.

The incident occurred at about 9.50am on Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on Dover (01304) 240055, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
